Small Apartment Living: No Closet, No Problem

If you have rented an apartment that is small and lacks closet space, then check out this list of simple and creative no-closet hack ideas.

Open Storage Solutions: One of the most obvious solutions is to create an open closet with a clothing rack. Try color coordinating your clothing while also using the same style hangers to create appeal and order. Add a shelf to the lower part of the rack where the clothing drapes and create a place to tuck away shoes and accessories. Be mindful in how you utilize bookshelves in the room too! Need more ideas? Buy An Armoire: If an open closet and clothing rack sitting in the corner of your bedroom isn't your idea of a closet, then purchase an armoire and put your clothing away. They can be costly, so make sure to check out local thrift stores and see what you can find that is within your budget.

Add Shelfs: If you have a spare bedroom that does not have a closet then try to hang up a clothing rod and some shelfs. Use a room divider to draw attention away from your personal belonging. Don't forget about under-bed storage too! Check out more no-closet space saving solutions on Pinterest.

Use A Nook: If you can find a place just big enough for you to build out a closet then you can cover it up with a curtain. Then you can keep the space just a little messy without anyone ever discovering it.

If you have ever lived in a small apartment without a closet how did you do it? We'd love to hear!
